Norma
Dennison grew up and studied art in Southern California before moving to
Jackson, Tennessee in 1946. She worked as an advertising artist for 17
years, taught art classes at Jackson State Community College for 31 years and
she has judged local, state and national art shows. For over 55 years now,
she has had invitations all over North America, including six trips to
Alaska, Canada and Mexico, to teach seminars and workshops as well as in-service
training for art teachers. She also has taught for college and national
art groups in 49 states. Along with her travels, she has served on a
national art board in Washington, DC 37 times in her career, and has her
painting on six national magazine covers. Currently she has four
perspective and watercolor demonstration videos on the international market and
two on portraits. Norma was selected for her outstanding achievements and
is published in the 24th edition (2004 & 2005) of Who's Who of American Women.
