In addition to the special programs listed above, there is a book club which meets monthly at the Main Library. The African American Literature Book Club meets at 6:30 on the third Tuesday of each month, September -May. They welcome new members
Main Library Children's Programs
Preschool Storytime each Tuesday at 10:30am and Friday at 9:30am & 10:30am.
Jackson Chess Club. The Jackson Chess Club meets every Sunday afternoon at 2pm in the Program Center. They welcome everyone from people who want to learn to play, novice player and experts!
Art Class with Mr. Poppelaars! We have decided to offer an “open studio” class. Classes are held on Saturday mornings from 10am-1pm in the Little Friends Room. Mr. Poppelaars invites anyone ages 8 and up and of all experience levels to join his free Art program.
